Favor Restores

Exodus 3:21 – “And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.”

Devotional Thought

For over 400 years, the Israelites served as slaves in Egypt. Yet, when it was time to leave, God gave them favor before their captors, and they left with silver, gold, and wealth. Favor restores what years of labor and affliction could not provide.

God’s favor ensures you do not go out empty. It is divine compensation for years of loss, pain, and waiting. No matter what you have lost—time, opportunities, relationships, or resources—when God’s favor shows up, restoration comes in abundance.

Practical Application

Instead of mourning what you lost, expect favor to restore it in greater measure. Begin to confess restoration over areas of loss in your life.

Meditation

I will not go empty; favor restores all that I have lost.

Prayer

Lord, by Your favor, restore every blessing, opportunity, and resource that has been stolen or delayed in my life.
